Is what I say during my treatment confidential?

A: Yes. At our behavioral health practice, we take your privacy seriously. All information shared during your sessions is confidential and will not be shared with anyone without your permission, except in cases where mandated by law or court order.
Q: Who will have access to my information?
A: Your therapist and any other person or entity you've requested to receive your information. However, we will not disclose any of your information to anyone else without your permission and that has not been listed on your Release of Information form, except in cases where mandated by law or court order.
Q: Can I request my information be withheld from insurance companies or employers?
A: Yes. You have the right to restrict the release of your information to insurance companies and employers. However, please note that this may impact your ability to receive insurance coverage or take time off work for treatment.

What methods can I use to contact my therapist?
Q: How can I contact my therapist?
A: Your therapist can be contacted through our secure messaging system within our therapy platform, via text or phone call, and through email. Additionally, you can schedule virtual sessions with your therapist using our platform.
Q: What if I need to contact my therapist outside of scheduled sessions?
A: If you need to contact your therapist outside of scheduled sessions, you can send them a secure message through our therapy platform. Your therapist will respond as soon as possible.
Q: How quickly will my therapist respond to my message?
A: Your therapist will typically respond to your message within 24-48 hours. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1 immediately.

Can I bring family members or friends to my admission?
Please consult with your therapist. Due to HIPPA rules and regulations, all information is confidential and all guest will be required to fill out the appropriate paperwork in order to attend session.
